• Can I use the toaster for toasting bread and re-heating pastries/croissants at the same time ?

No.
• How do I get rid of the crumbs in my toaster ?

Simply take your toaster to a dustbin or a sink and open the crumb tray at the bottom of the toaster. The crumbs will fall out immediately. To remove crumbs that are stuck in the toaster, shake the toaster well during cleaning.
• How should I clean my toaster?

The appliance does not need much maintenance. Regularly, after each use if possible, clean the outside with a damp cloth and a small amount of washing up liquid . Crumbs are collected in the base plate of the toaster and should be regularly removed by pulling out the tray. Do not use any abrasive products or cleaners containing alcohol. Only use mild and neutral washing up liquid.
• Is it possible to defrost other products than bread ?

No. Do not use the toaster for cooking, grilling or de-frosting frozen food other than bread products.
• Is it possible to put non-food objects on the warming plate ?

No. Never place utensils, plate, bowl, cup, bottle, paper, aluminum foil on the warming plate or in the appliance.
• What sort of bread can be grilled?

Almost all sorts of bread available in the shops. Remember that stale bread toasts faster than fresh bread. Frozen bread takes longer. With the regulating button, you can adapt the grill to your taste. If a slice of bread gets stuck, switch off the appliance and leave it to cool. You can then remove the slice without the risk of touching a hot element.

• My toaster releases an unpleasant od our

If your toaster is a new one please follow these recommendations before using it for the first time:
- Without inserting any bread select the minimum browning level and press the bread loading lever down.
- Turn the appliance on 3 or 4 times while empty . This will remove any unpleasant od ours from the new product .
-Open a window.
• My toasting level is not always the same from one day to another

The quality of toasting depends on the types of breads you toast and the more there is sugar the quicker the bread toasts. Its state of conservation influences the toasting level too. Thus between a fresh bread and a stale one (or a frozen one) at the same browning level the result will be different.

• The bread jams in the slots after toasting and the elements do not switch off.

Disconnect the plug immediately from the wall socket and wait for the appliance to cool down before attempting to remove the bread.
• The bread-loading lever of my toaster doesn't lock in the low position

Check the toaster is plugged in. If not the lever won't stay down.
